Karl Koett, a recent graduate from the New York Academy of Art with an MFA in painting, is currently living and working in Brooklyn. Koett works in a naturalistic style, often from his imagination. Narratives suit him, but stories do not, as he prefers the actions of the figures to be familiar but not named.
