Joseph Lappie is currently working on his MFA in interdisciplinary book and paper arts at Columbia College Chicago and received his BFA in painting and graphic design at Ball State University. Lappie's work involves many forms of printmaking and handmade paper. His current work deals with what he refers to as “communicative constipation”, often expressed through the use of mythological references.
