Lee Piechocki is a Chicago-based painter, currently residing in Lawrence, Kansas and co-curator of Research & Development. Piechocki is known for his use of Trompe-l'œil, a photo-real technique meant to fool the eye. Piechocki's almost scientific process and investigation of materials lead to the approach of his work.
