Kelie Bowman hails from Florida and lives and works in Brooklyn, where she is co-founder of Cinders Gallery. She received a BFA at the University of Florida, was a founding member of the Cloud Seeding Circus, and gave Bike Tours in Munich, Germany. Bowman’s tightly painted figures on paper address the struggle to keep stability in one’s life by way of the community.
