Gala Bent received her MFA from SUNY Buffalo, and currently lives and works in Seattle, Washington. Bent’s simple and delicate paintings are inspired by scientific texts of geological cataclysms, mammoth sea creatures and microscopic fauna. Bent’s paintings illustrate a feeling of hope and beauty.
